Light the Night
In the Spring of 2009, more than 21,000 people in 20 capital cities and regional centres carried balloons containing tiny lights to: remember loved ones lost to a blood cancer (gold balloon); celebrate the courage of people with, and survivors of, blood cancers (white balloon); and to give hope by showing people affected by blood cancers that their community cares and supports them (blue balloon). Last year, Light the Night raised $1.3million for people affected by leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders.
Light the Night will be back in Spring 2010!
