There are a number of young women on Talk Blood Cancer in the CML Forum who are a little older (early 20's)
Also there is a list of other support and chat group _link_s (world wide) where young people have CML

hi i was diagnosed about 7 weeks ago with cml i was 18 at the time of diagnoses and 22 weeks pregnant its not a very nice thing for any person to go through no matter what age young or old.

Congratulations on being a Mum

I am friends with another young woman who was diagnosed when she was pregnant and now is the
MUM of a healthy little girl who is just 10 months old. A number of guys have also successfully conceived children and one Indian woman it has been published has had twins.

What State are you in - if in Perth - we can get together

Also if you have a look at the Talkbloodcancer Forum there is heaps of info of CML and other support groups with many young woman having bubs successfully with CML. Being pregnant with CML will be at times perhaps a little tricky with your management but keep as well as you are able.

What drug have you been put on - interferon during the pregnancy or some other - or none at all.

No doubt you will go thru quite abit - my suggestion is to get as much info as possible
