I think it would be valuable to have a category called Dating, Relationships & Sexuality perhaps positioned below the "Friends and family" forum category. Many young adults diagnosed with cancer will have concerns in these sometimes complex areas of life at some time before and during their treatment and beyond.

A de_script_ion for it could be "A diagnosis of cancer and its treatment can bring some new challenges to your world of dating, relationships and sexuality" or similar wording.

My name is Kendall and I am one of the moderators here at Revive.

We really appreciate any feedback to help improve this forum in it's infancy.

It's a great suggestion, particularly since it includes some of the topics we want to talk about, but never know who to talk to, or how to bring up some of the more sensitive issues.

We do have the 'sealed section' which hasn't been utilised yet, but perhaps we could be more specific with the wording to help encourage more to use it.

I will definitely forward your suggestions for further discussion.

It's quite popular with many threads and numerous posts. I haven't read through it all but my feeling is that most of the topics discussed there might be more appropriate outside a sealed section rather than inside.

There are some particularly sensitive topics eg sexual problems that might be better discussed in the sealed section. Chemotherapy for example can put a major dampener on sex lives, both by reducing libido and by direct physical effects on the body. It's not a topic widely discussed yet on the internet, partly I think because people are understandably reluctant to start threads on the subject.

Well the main point really is that we DO start talking about it! I have forwarded your comments to the team Ed, and will check out the _link_ you have posted.

Hopefully, we will make some positive changes, to help this excellent topic become more open!

Now back to preparing an internet ad for my prospective partner. The draft reads "Exceedingly rich single vivacious bubbly blonde (wig okay), age group 18 to 108, with expertise in computers and the internet, must own at least one supercomputer and a holiday mansion in North Queensland, Hawaii or the Bahamas, for church outings, poetry readings and fun times, with a view to matrimony."
