Dear All,
The Leukaemia Foundation has launched a new support programme, “Bone Marrow Transplant Telephone Forum” for patients and families.
The Bone Marrow Transplant Telephone Forum is designed to allow people who have had, or are going to have, a bone marrow transplant to share their experiences, provide tips, education and support to each other in a relaxed forum facilitated by a Support Services team member who has a background in bone marrow transplantation.
Whilst the forum is available to patients and their families anywhere in Australia, it has been developed with the aim of providing access to peer support and information primarily for regional and remote people. This forum will be held bi-monthly. Participants are required to register, will be given a phone number followed by a PIN number which is required to join the forum. For regional patients, it is a free-call number. For metropolitan patients, participating in this forum will be the cost of a local call.
If you would like to talk, share and be empowered with valuable information and experiences of others, this is the forum for you! The forum will be facilitated by Natasha Manoharan – Leukaemia Foundation Support Services.
