National Research Survey PDF Print E-mail

Throughout 2007, the ‘Revive’ Young Adults Program development team at the Leukaemia Foundation conducted a national research survey of needs for young adults affected by blood cancer. Patterns emerged which indicate the major needs of this demographic. This research will assist the development of age-appropriate, evidence-based education and support programs for young adults affected by blood cancer. Responses received: 100

The majority of respondents are:

  • female
  • either ‘0-6’ or ‘24 & over’ months post treatment
  • diagnosed with lymphoma
  • 18 – 25 yrs old

RELEVANCE

The majority of respondents indicated that they found the proposed program, as it was described, to be relevant.
